We would like to invite all of you with green thumbs (and not so green) to join us during our annual Lane Maintenance workdays. Starting at 9:00 a.m. on the weekend of May 15th and continuing through Sunday the 16th, and the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of May (9:00 a.m. till noon), we will be cleaning and weeding around all the trees on the Lane.
Though many of the homeowners give us a helping hand by keeping the area around their tree clean, each one must be checked and cleaned around as needed. As with both “Lights Up” and “Take Down,” we will be starting on Santa Rosa between Altadena Dr. and Mariposa. Unlike other times, the street will not be closed because we will be staying close to the trees and in the gutters.
We will have tools and gardening equipment needed for the job, but if you have tools that you love to use, feel free to bring them.
Like other work days on Christmas Tree Lane, we will have donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and bottled water for all the volunteers who show up and a homemade lunch after we are done for the day. Also if you plan to bring a group that is more then five people and plan to stay for lunch, please email or call us at 626-403-1123 so we will have enough food for all.
Thanks and see you on the Lane!
